Location: Sherman Oaks, CA

A patchy curbside garden gets a curb appeal makeover with a mix of low-maintenance, drought tolerant plants including some California native plants.  Cool blue green tones complement pops of yellow and orange against chunky crushed gravel.  Medium sized boulders were added as sculptural elements to complement the bold 

A striking Moonglow aloe plant rises above a sea of chunky gravel.  When in bloom, this aloe will have yellow-orange tipped blooms that will be an eye-catching focal point.

A sweet Evening Primrose 

Bright colors come together for this focal point.  As guests pull up to the house, this inviting corner welcomes the homeowners and guests.

Before - The homeowners had originally envisioned to remove the grass from this curb but overtime, weeds began to take over.
